Beethoven's 9th finally explodes in the throttling murderous rage of a rapist incapable of attaining release?

For those who can't perform, musicology is the perfect answer. Take anything in music, give it a Freudian twist or a Marxist twist, or if all else fails give it a Feminist twist and write a Doctoral dissertation. There is nothing like a race for the bottom and the cheapening of degrees. And, no, I am not slamming all musicologists. I just want to evaluate the quality of the umption, if that is off then I don't care about the logic.
