What should I do if I had 2 weeks post giving birth (and other questions..)?

I guess I am stupid, but I've had a lot of children and I've basically had once the bleeding deminished. With one of the children, that was on day 11 post partum. (I was told not to have for six weeks by each doctor. I figured it was because of lack of birth control that they didn't want me having . I have heard that a true "********" was dangerous at any time; I didn't know why though, so that's interesting to learn. I believe your cervix would close up by 2 weeks, especially if you aren't bleeding much. I think the risk of infection is quite low really. If you notice a strong ordor then get checked out. And I think the risk of pg is rather low (although I always seemed to get my first period exactly 28 days after giving birth...then if I was nursing, AF left again and didn't return until about a year...but I always got a first period.)
