IF A SHY GUY TEXTS YOU AFTER 2 MONTHS ANY ADVICE?

Maybe he does like you and he was going through a lot of home problems. Ask him why he was ignoring you and if he still like you and if he says he does, then tell him if you guys start talking again for him not to do that again, because if you start getting to know someone and thinking everything is going good and then all of a sudden they stop talking to you it is not fair to you. If he does want to keep talking to you, then he needs to make sure he does not do that again out of nowhere and if that is the case then maybe it would be better to just be friends. I mean it sounds like you both like each other, but you also don't want to waist your time one someone who is just going to stop talking to you and then when ever he feels like it try talking to you again. Just make sure you let him know this. Also you could let him know that if he is going through a lot of problems (if it is the reason he stop talking to you) that you want to get to know him and you are here for him to talk to him and help him. Just make this clear to him you don't want to end up waisting your time or falling for someone and then they just disappear out of nowhere.
