Is There A Perfect Relationship?

So, my ex-gf, who I dated for about a year and a half went to my high school but went to college in nyc so she is very city-like...very into fashion, money, partying big, and so on. I'm from more upstate, like 60 miles away. We dated for a while and I thought she was the best thing that ever happened to me (in terms of girls, at least). Thought we'd be together forever. Never fought, argued, I treated her like gold, I would always be there for her and try to help her with anything. Basically, just be a good boyfriend. Always be happy around her. But she used to comment about how she is so independent and how I live at home and subtly make me aware that I didn't make that much money, or as much as her and try to make me feel bad that I couldn't always go to the city and see her because I can't really afford it a lot of times, but would have totally just hung out with her at my house, even though most people would just find that boring I guess. I don't think she liked how I would shop at Old Navy and she would shop Armani and wear high-end clothing. She would never do these things in a bitchy way, but like all girls, I feel like they need to find SOMETHING cause they are never content with just a nice guy who treats her like a princess and would do anything for her. Thought it was perfect but I guess I was never enough. I always thought my love for her was enough and she wasn't 'one of those' girls. Anyway, is there a perfect relationship?
