Why should sports people who misbehave be sacked?

I think it depends on the severity of the "misbehave" whether or not athletes should be sacked. I also think, based on observation of some athletes, that some athletes think they are above the law. Bottom line, the basic tenant is sportsmanship. If you're lacking in it you should be ousted. Why? Because sports figures are a huge influence on young people. With their positions comes enormous responsibiltity to maintain a standard of excellence in their lives. If they're incapable of doing that they shouldn't be allowed to reap the benefits of the lifestyle. JMO Some athletes today have no cl at all, and all the millions of dollars they make doesn't turn a pig's ear into a silk purse....
