Who has tried transferring into NYU or USC from a Community College, and how hard was it for you?

I attend USC, and although I am not a film nor transfer student, I feel as though I can speak enough for both. First of all, transferring to SC is no easy feat, and despite the fact that transfer students tend to be a bit less academically qualified than those who got in out of high school (not always, but on average), you will definitely need to display a great amount of competency and improvement. Moreover, the School of Cinematic Arts is EXTREMELY competitive, with around a five percent rate of acceptance. Do you realistically see yourself obtaining a 4.0 in college, along with creating a great piece of film work for your application? If so, then I guess good luck.
