I want to open a small biz in nyc, & was wondering if it was worth it to form an LLC in a state like NV or WI?

I have heard that these states have low cost LLC formations but I was wondering if there will be double taxation as i'm doing business in new york city. Anybody knows the pros & cons to this situation?
