Does he want to talk to me?

Okay, so my friend invited me into a buddy chat and this guy was there and we talked. Now I talk to him every day but we dont really talk alot. The convo. goes hey, hey, Sup, nm, kool. And some times it goes on and then i say random stuff once in a while and sometime it be comes a convo. Does he want to talk to me or am i wasting my time?
